929 Home Tour Part one

Welcome to our home! We are so happy to have you here!

We moved into our renovated home a little over 2 years ago and to be honest, I thought I would be sharing my home tour with you immediately after we moved in, but my expectations were completely throw out the window. I’ve learned that it takes time to decorate your home and that’s ok! Jamie and I wanted to complete our home decor with pieces that we really loved, not just buy things for the sake of finishing it.

When we first moved in, we barely owned any furniture or decor. I had frames that were hanging on our walls without pictures in them because I was too indecisive, and for awhile, we had a mismatch of seating in our family room, but that didn’t change the way that our house felt. Coming home to each other and maintaining a posture of open hands with our home is what matters most.

I just love your home! You have such great taste in decor. Where did you find the hanging planter baskets in the living room? They’re so cute!

Thank you so much Amber! I got the baskets from Michael’s and attached them to the wall using a simple white hook that we found at Home Depot! Such an easy DIY project!
