It’s really amazing what a fresh coat of paint and new light fixtures can do to transform a room. In our guest bedroom and study we didn’t do any structural changes because they didn’t need them. Along with the rest of the house, we sanded and stained the hardwood floors, repainted, changed the light fixtures and changed the doorknobs. The only major change that you will notice is that we removed one window in the guest bedroom (to make room for our master bedroom closet) which caused us to lose some natural light but we believed it was worth it to have an awesome closet.
In the guest bathroom, we painted, changed the light fixture above the sink, changed the sink and shower faucets, and changed the knobs on the sink cabinet. Thankfully the existing tub/shower, sink cabinet, and tile were in really good shape and we love the classic white!
