I didn’t realize how much I truly loved paper goods, until I started designing our wedding paper goods. There are many different routes that you can choose to take when designing your wedding paper goods. I chose to work with my dear friend, Becca Rose with Rebecca Rose Creative. Becca is the creative mind behind all of our lovely paper goods. I wanted a unique design created from scratch and she exceeded my expectations! From beginning to end, she was a dream to work with. Not only is she an incredible and thorough communicator, but she also understood my vision completely. I choose to work with vendors that I knew I could trust, that understood the heart behind our wedding and had a impeccable understanding of our vision and design for the day. I was completely blown away by the designs that Becca created for us and how she brought everything together!
Before we get started, be sure to see the inspiration board that I created for our wedding day. Here you will see where my inspiration came from when designing our paper goods. The first step in designing our paper goods was deciding on a logo that would be used throughout our wedding decor. When we first began discussing our wedding logo Becca used these words as her inspiration: classic, unique, script, calligraphy, under the oaks, timeless, strong as an oak, Charleston, black tie, and waterfront. I have a deep love for black and white. It’s elegance, crispness and palette for bringing everything together makes me jump up and down, so of course, I knew that would be a good starting point.
When Jamie and I received our first email from Becca with some of the possible logo designs, we were blown away! (See some of the original options above) We had a hard time deciding, because all were beautiful and unique, but we keep coming back to one design. Below is the design that we chose and could not have been more happy with our decision!
