October was one crazy month. It included:
4 weddings, 3 sessions, weekend in Pawley’s Island, weekend in Charlottesville, NC State Fair with friends, said goodbye to and helped my parents move out of their house, and launched a blog.
This month, I am most looking forward to rest. I have my Harvest Yankee Candle ready, our gas logs newly installed and a stack of good books to dive into. I’m keeping this month’s goals simple and tangible, so I can listen closely to what my body and heart are demanding: rest. Here’s to a month full of changing leaves, curling up under a cozy blanket, and celebration with my family.
Organize & decorate my home office
Create and implement a home filing system
Read Strong Women, Soft Hearts
Design our first family Christmas Card (I am already eyeing the beautiful designs on Minted)
Make delicious Carrot Ginger Soup
Make finals plans for our December trip to NYC
Spend a weekend at Windy Gap
Celebrate Southern Weddings Volume 7 (Be sure to pick up or order a copy to see our amazing wedding images by my incredibly talented friend Nancy Ray!)
What are your November goals? Leave a comment below with a link to your blog! I would love to take a peek!
