Will you Be my Bridesmaid?

Asking my bridesmaids to stand beside me on my wedding day was something that I had been looking forward to since the day that Jamie and I got engaged! At the time, most of them lived in different cities, so I wanted to put together something that was fun and personal for them to receive in the mail. I scoured online for the perfect way to ask, but couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for so I decided to craft something myself! After pulling together some inspiration, I designed and constructed an invitation suite just for them which included a handwritten note, a custom invitation that I designed on Photoshop and a confetti filled velum envelop.

Materials:
Peacock A7 Envelopes
Hooray Notecard
Gold Glitter Paper
Brown Kraft Paper
Gold Baker’s Twine
Gold Sequins
Mini Velum Envelopes
Gold Paint Pen
Washi Tape
Scissors
Double-sided Tape

Those are so cute, Callie! And I think it makes it all the more special that you made them for your friends. I did a little box with a succulent in it and a card and note, tied together with baker’s twine. I knew it would be an outdoor ranch wedding so I thought the succulent was fitting!

Callie, those are precious, and so creative! I made my ladies Amish friendship bread and sent it along with a handwritten note too. It’s fun to think of them all getting a fun package in the mail when everyone is far apart geographically:)

I love the confetti Callie! I got engaged this past January, so the week of Valentine’s Day I sent my bridesmaids each one of the Southern Weddings Valentine note cards with the cutest southern phrases asking them to be a part of the wedding and wishing them a Happy Valentine’s Day!
